Conversation with an Early Girard Collector: Mr. Doubleday

Almost exactly two years ago, on January 31st, 2017,  a pair of "third generation" members of the Friends of Bill Girard  ( FOBG)  community  Ms. Janson (J) and Mr. Weikal (K), visited one of the earliest members of that community, Mr. Doubleday (M). The visit took place in metro Detroit.  What follows is a modestly redacted version of the transcribed conversation. Transcribed, because it was recorded by Ms. Janson and Mr. Weikal. With their permission, I am providing this lightly redacted transcript.  The redactions are intended to protect the privacy of the participants and the sanctity of their respective collections.
